My Fair Estimate

Acceptance of terms

By using any My Fair Estimate product (FairFix, FairRoof, FairFlow, FairWire, FairAir, FairBuild, FairFloor, FairClean, FairSun— the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

What this service is — and isn't

The Service analyzes a repair or project estimate you provide and returns an AI-generated opinion of whether the price appears fair, based on general, aggregated market and industry pricing data.

The Service is not: a professional appraisal, inspection, or audit of any specific vehicle, property, or completed work; a certified or licensed opinion; an accusation or finding of wrongdoing, fraud, or dishonesty by any contractor, shop, or business; or a substitute for a written quote, a second opinion, or consultation with a licensed professional in the relevant trade.

Verdicts ("Fair," "Overpriced," "Great Deal," etc.) reflect how a price compares to general market data for similar work. They do not reflect an inspection of your specific vehicle, home, or project, and may not account for local conditions, code requirements, material availability, or other factors that legitimately affect price.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that any verdict, price range, or estimate is correct.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Fair Estimate and its owner/operator are not liable for any decision you make, action you take, or damages you incur — including disputes with a contractor, shop, or other business — based on your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim.

Lead matching (optional)

If you opt in to be matched with a local contractor, that contractor is an independent third party — not vetted, endorsed, employed, or guaranteed by My Fair Estimate. We are not responsible for the quality, pricing, licensing, or conduct of any contractor you're matched with.

Payments

Payments unlock additional use of the Service as described at checkout. Payments are one-time and processed by Stripe; see our Privacy Policy for how payment data is handled.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
